Les Saintes, one of the most beautiful bays in the world

This vast bay is the second most beautiful in the world.
Arriving by sea at Terre-de-Haut is already magical: strolling through the lanes, tasting the island’s specialities: the tourment d’amour, the fish crêpe... it is already pure happiness. Climb up to Fort Napoléon and admire a sublime view over the archipelago, take a dip at the lovely Pompierre beach: it deserves more than a stopover, a real stay!

The Les Saintes archipelago lies to the south of Guadeloupe. With an area of 13 km², it is made up of 2 main inhabited islands, Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas, and 6 islets: Îlet Cabrit, Îlet de la Coche, Grand Îlet, Îlet de la Redonde, Îlet des Augustins and Rocher-du-Pâté. Terre-de-Bas is less touristy but just as charming. It is small in size but rich in the warm welcome of its people, its old pottery and its trails scented with bois d’Inde.
