The Guadeloupe Zoo, at the Parc des Mamelles, is located within the Guadeloupe National Park. On the way there, you will discover the different types of vegetation growing on these mountains. After crossing the tropical forest you will arrive at the Parc des Mamelles: along a marked path, you will see some of the most unusual species of the Caribbean: raccoons, agoutis, bats, Hercules beetles, geckos, not forgetting the jaguar... Then you will discover the forest from above, from its summit. Walkways suspended from tree to tree will allow you to move through the canopy. You will meet astonishing varieties of trees, lianas and epiphytic plants such as wild pineapple or orchids, and can observe small bird nests and many insects. At the end of the visit, you will pass through the bat cave.
